Obama: Making Your Heroes Look Like Assholes

Most of the time I have 0 hope for America. Most of the time I have no respect for the vast majority of Americans I come across. But then, every once in a while, I get a little breath of fresh air, and have a little hope for the fuckers stealing my air.

"Obama topped a new Harris interactive poll that asked 2,634 Americans who they admire enough to call a hero.

Jesus came in second on a list that includes God, Mahtma Gandhi and George Washington.

Other historic or notable figures making the top 10 were Martin Luther King Jr., Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Abraham Lincoln, John McCain, John F. Kennedy, U.S. Airways pilot Chesley Sullenberger and Mother Teresa."

I'm not saying that I don't think that M.L.K. Jr., Mother Teresa, or even God F. Smith aren't important figures, or that they don't deserve "hero status". But the fact that Obama came out on top above all of them is so ridiculous that I absolutely love the dogshit out of it.

On a side-note, Fox News resident hobgoblin, Bill O'Reilly is outraged over the results, allegedly suggesting that he, in fact, is god, and should have not only decimated all on this poll, but will soon do so IRL.

O'Reilly reportedly exclaimed: "I AM HE WHO IS I AM!" Then his head exploded and thousands of bats spewed from his neck stump, and out a near-by window.
